Job summary

We are seeking qualified and dynamic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultants to join our expert roster for upcoming short-term assignments. Selected consultants will support the design and execution of evaluations, assessments, and research projects in areas such as rural development, climate resilience, gender equality, governance, and livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and review evaluation frameworks, logframes, and indicator matrices

✅ Design data collection tools (surveys, KII, FGD guides, MSC templates)

✅ Support quantitative and qualitative data collection and field supervision

✅ Conduct data analysis and draft findings aligned with international evaluation standards (e.g., OECD-DAC)

✅ Contribute to report writing, validation workshops, and client presentations

✅ Ensure quality assurance, ethical compliance, and gender-sensitive evaluation practices

✅ Perform other tasks assigned by company management as needed.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Education & Experience
  • Master's Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in M&E, preferably in development, humanitarian, or public sector programs
Technical & Core Competencies
  • Proficiency in evaluation standards and methodologies, including mixed-methods, outcome mapping, or MSC
  • Excellent command of data tools such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, or R
  • Strong analytical writing skills in English; Dari or Pashto is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to travel to project sites and provinces when required.
