Mining & Geotechnical Consulting

Mining Engineering and Consulting Services

Mining consulting across exploration, project studies, mine planning, environmental and social assessment, operations and closure—connecting technical evidence with responsible investment decisions.

From exploration to closure: make better mining decisions.

Mining projects need a clear connection between geological evidence, engineering choices, commercial assumptions and environmental and social responsibilities. Daira Sabz provides multidisciplinary mining advisory across the project lifecycle, helping developers, operators and investors evaluate options, manage uncertainty and plan responsible development.

Mining advisory across the lifecycle

  • Early-stage studies and due diligence: Review available geological, technical and environmental information; identify data gaps, development constraints and priorities for further investigation.
  • Exploration and geological modelling: Plan exploration programmes, geological mapping and sampling; support drilling and core-data interpretation, GIS and remote-sensing analysis, and three-dimensional geological and resource modelling.
  • Scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility: Assess mining and processing options, technical requirements, capital and operating cost assumptions, financial sensitivities and project risks to inform investment decisions.
  • Mine planning, engineering and development: Support mine layouts, development sequencing, geotechnical design, access and site infrastructure, water management, procurement and technical supervision.
  • Environmental and social assessment: Deliver screening, scoping, baseline studies, ESIA and management plans, with stakeholder consultation and support for regulatory review.
  • Operations, improvement and expansion: Review operational constraints and risks; advise on resource efficiency, water, waste rock and tailings management, monitoring and digital reporting.
  • Safety, climate and workforce capacity: Support hazard assessment, emergency preparedness, climate-risk screening and practical training for project teams.
  • Closure, rehabilitation and post-mining use: Integrate closure considerations into project planning, including land rehabilitation, water and pollution risks, post-mining land use and monitoring needs.

Our approach

We start with the mineral asset, project stage and decisions you need to make. Geological, engineering, environmental and social workstreams are scoped together, with assumptions, data quality and gaps made explicit. Study outputs compare options and identify the next investigations, approvals and management actions required. Methods, specialist inputs and reporting requirements are agreed for each assignment.

Outputs and value for your team

A useful mining study explains what is known, what remains uncertain and how each option affects cost, risk and implementation. Our outputs can include exploration plans, geological models, project-study inputs, engineering recommendations, ESIA and management plans, and operational or closure roadmaps. This helps clients prioritise work and progress with a clearer basis for decisions.
