Job Description:

We are seeking qualified E-Commerce Platform Development Specialist  who will work on development an ecommerce platform and train the women entereupreners on e-trading in eastern ans southern regions of Afghanistan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of an E-Commerce platform for 50 women-led MSMEs in the Southern and Eastern regions.
• Provide support for digital marketing infrastructure and tools, ensuring accessibility for qualifying women MSMEs.
• Conduct training programs for women entrepreneurs on effective e-trading, covering platform usage and marketing essentials.
• Develop a business plan, strategy, and roadmap for the roll-out and scaling up of the E-Commerce platform.
• Analyze the current E-Commerce landscape for small MSMEs in Afghanistan and propose tailored solutions.
• Enhance existing platforms or build new ones with user-friendly interfaces, secure payment gateways, and efficient inventory/logistics management systems.
• Provide ongoing support, including technical assistance, to MSMEs for the effective use of E-Commerce platforms.
• Propose and recommend collaborations with relevant service providers for sustainability, including logistics, e-payment, packaging, and IT developers.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Both master’s and bachelor, in Business Management, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 3 years (with a master’s degree and 5 years with a bachelor’s degree) practical experience and knowledge of online shopping platforms is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Indepth understanding of E-Commerce platform development, preferably with a focus on MSMEs.
• Expertise in user experience design, secure payment gateway integration, and scalable platform development.
• Proven success in providing training and ongoing support to end-users.
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment related to E-Commerce in Afghanistan.
• Understanding of MSMEs and women entrepreneurship in the Afghanistan context.
• Willingness to travel to different locations for training sessions and field visits.
